Helen LaVerne Evans of Bartlett, TN was born in Memphis, TN on July 18, 1937 to Samuel Gilmore Crockett and Katie Lee Murphy Crockett, who preceded her in death. Helen passed away at home on September 2, 2016 at the age of 79 years. She is survived by daughter, Julie Diane Evans Glover (David); son, Billy J. Evans, II (Norma); four grandchildren, Patrick, Simone, Dana and Jamee; and by one great grandchild, Aubree. A visitation will be held on Thursday, September 8, 2016 from 12 - 2 PM with funeral services to immediately follow at 2:00 PM, all at Forest Hill Funeral Home East, 2440 Whitten Rd.
