Helen JoAnn Hosse McCraw, 75, passed away on Monday, October 8, 2012. She attended Memphis Tech High School, where she graduated in 1955 and met her husband, James McCraw. Mrs. McCraw graduated from Methodist Hospital School of Nursing in 1958. Her career as a nurse spanned over 40 years. She graduated in 1979 from MSU with a Bachelor''s degree in Education. Her devotion to faith and family is evidenced by the love of her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, to whom she will always be "Mimi". She is survived by her husband of 54 years, James McCraw; four children, James A. McCraw, Jr., Charles McCraw, Janet McCraw, and Jeffrey (Bridget) McCraw; her sister, Gail Sharp; seven grandchildren, two great-grandchildren; a niece who helped care for her, Kathy Williams; a sister-in-law who helped care for her, Liz Lillis; and a host of loving family members and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Graham R. and Helen S. Hosse, and her brother, Raymond R. Hosse. Any memorials may be sent to the Parish Religious Education fund at Our Lady of Sorrows Church. Visitation will be 5-7 P.M., Wednesday, October 10, 2012 at Forest Hill East Funeral Home. Services will be at 10 A.M., Thursday, October 11, 2012 at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church with interment to follow.
