Herbert E. "Gene" Adcock, Sr., 87, of Memphis, TN went to be with the Lord Wednesday, November 11, 2015. He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Ruby Jewell AdcockÍ daughter, Debbie BakerÍ son, Herbert "Bert" Adcock, Jr.Í grandchildren: Scotti Miles (Adrian), Herbert E. "Trey" Adcock III, and Alexandra "Ally" AdcockÍ great-granddaughter, Landri MilesÍ and godson, James Harper Madison. Mr. Adcock was a member of Trinity Baptist Church for 47 years. The family will receive friends from 10-11:00 am Saturday November 14, 2015 with a funeral service to follow at 11:00 am. All services and interment will be held at Forest Hill, South on Holmes Rd. In lieu of flowers please make memorials to St. Jude Children''s Research hospital or another charity of your choice.
