Hilliard A. Russell, Jr., 88, of Memphis, TN, passed away on April 28, 2014. He was a retired lead mechanic for the City of Memphis Fire Department, a 32nd Degree Scottish Rite Mason and a Navy Veteran. Mr. Russell is survived by his sons, Hilliard A. Russell, III, Joe (Lisa) Russell; grandsons, Scooter (Renee) Russell; granddaughter, Joann Russell; great-grandsons, Jack Russell, Tyler Russell; sister, Lois Courtney and brother, Bud Russell. Visitation will be 12 p.m. until service begins at 2 p.m. Wednesday, April 30 at Forest Hill East Funeral Home with interment following.
