Holli Elizabeth Day, 23, loving wife, daughter, sister and aunt, passed away Thursday, October 24, 2013. She was born January 24, 1990 in Memphis, TN. Mrs. Day was preceded in death by her father, Curtis (Pete) Manly Pond, Jr. and is survived by her loving husband, Tory Clayton Day; mother Patti Pond; sister, Carrie Hardin (Daniel); brother Joseph Pond; grandparents, Curtis & Laura Pond and Raymond Johnston; two nephews, Kyler and Brody Hardin; three nieces, Anna Grace and Addy Kate Pond and Adelynn Day. Mrs. Day was preceded in death by her grandmother, Junie Johnston. She was a graduate of Northwest School of Nursing and worked in labor and delivery at Baptist Hospital-Desoto. Mrs. Day was a member of Trinity Baptist Church in Southaven, MS. Holli was a sweet example of compassion, God''s unconditional love, selflessness and the grace that God our Father offers each day. In life and death she glorified God. Visitation will be 5-8 P.M., Sunday, October 27, 2013 at Longview Heights Baptist Church. Services will be at 12:00 P.M., Monday at the church with interment to follow in Forest Hill South Cemetery. The family requests that any memorials be sent to Trinity Baptist Church, Missions or Longview Heights Baptist Church, Missions.
