Howard Franklin Thornton, 92, of Memphis, TN went home to be with the Lord Jesus Christ on Tuesday, November 4, 2025 in Olive Branch, MS. Howard was a retired truck driver and member of the Teamsters Local 667 in which he dedicated many years of service. He loved spending time with his family and friends very much. He leaves behind two children, Vicki Perry of Olive Branch, MS and Terry Thornton of Greers Ferry, AR, a nephew - David Snell of Olive Branch, MS, a sister-n-law - Judy Snell of Southaven, MS, 7-Grandchildren, 12- Great Grandchildren, and 6- Great Great Grandchildren. Services will be held on Wednesday, November 12, 2025 at Forrest Hill East Funeral Home on Whitten Rd. Visitation will be from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. with the funeral to follow at 2:00p.m. He will be laid to rest beside his mother at Forrest Hill South Cemetery on Holmes Rd.
