Ida Scott, 80, of Covington, TN, passed away June 1, 2015. Mrs. Scott was past president of the women of the church, the Episcopal Church home, Baptist Hospital-Tipton Volunteer Auxiliary, the Daughters of the King and the Town and Country Garden Club. She was a past Matron of the Eastern Star. She was a master gardener and also served in the board of Stage Set and Handicapped, Inc. She was a volunteer at the Lions Pre- School, Arlington Development Center and Youth Service Inc., and was a member of the Daughters of the Nile, Kings Daughters and Sons (Child of Thine Circle). Mrs. Scott was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph James Scott. A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m.; Friday, June 5; friends may visit prior to the service beginning at 1 p.m., and all at Forest Hill Funeral Home East on Whitten Rd. Memorials may be made to the charity of the donor''s choice.
