Ida Chambers Spencer, 80, of Memphis, died July 22, 2015 at Baptist Memorial Hospital-East. She retired from Parkway Village Baptist Church and Middle Baptist Church. The family will receive friends from 5-7 p.m., Friday, July 31 at Forest Hill Funeral Home Midtown. Services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, August 1 at Parkway Gardens United, 1005 E. Shelby Drive. Burial will be in New Park Cemetery. She was married to the late Levester "Slick" Spencer, and is survived by a son, Larry Fields, Sr. (Carolyn) and daughter, Shirley F. Burford; step-children, Sylvia McGhee (Dennis), Sonya Spencer and Keith Davis; sisters, Estella Ferguson (Russell), Buffalo, NY and Ollie Jones, Memphis a host of extended family and friends.
