Iman "Ed" Edward Lunday, 90, of Southaven, MS passed away on Tuesday, January 12, 2016. Ed served in the U.S. Army. He retired after 31 years from the Memphis Police Department where he was a Captin. During his career he took flying lessons and after retirement he became a commercial flight instructor. He also loved to talk on his Hamm Radio. Mr. Lunday was preceded in death by his wife of 29 years, Geraldine Marie Lunday and two daughters: Margaret Brown and Jackie deVolpi. He leaves three daughters: Peggy Dooley, Linda Darringer and Kay McVay; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren as well as many friends and loved ones. Visitation will be from 9 to 10 a.m. Friday, January 15 with service immediately following. Burial will be in Forest Hill South Cemetery.
