Imogene (Jean) Harriett Swift, 83, passed away peacefully on August 19, 2018 in Southaven, MS. Services will be held at Forest Hill Funeral Home/Memorial Park in mid-town Memphis on Friday, August 24, 2018 at 2:00 PM, with visitation at 1:00 PM also at Forest Hill Funeral Home/Memorial Park.  Jean was born in Decatur County, TN on August 18, 1935 to the late Allie and Ben Culp, both natives of Decatur County, TN. Having grown up in Decatur County, TN, she graduated from Decatur County High School.  Jean married the love of her life, Robert Thomas Swift, also of Decatur County, TN. Jean was a member of Southaven First United Methodist Church.   Jean is survived by her five children:  son Glen & (Joan) Swift of Knoxville, TN, daughter Pam & (Trent) Wilson of Piperton, TN, son Tony Swift of Southaven, MS, son Ken & (Gina) Swift of Southaven, MS and daughter Christie May of Germantown, TN; sister Charlotte Tuton of Munford, TN  and brother Ben Frank & (Virginia) Culp of Millington, TN; 11 grandchildren, Matt, David, Jay, Shannon, Ashton, Brennan, Jansen, Caroline, Nick, Elizabeth and Anthony; 8 great grandchildren Lauren, Lexi, Thomas, Cole, Maddox, Jay, Eva, Olivia and many nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be Anthony Swift, Tony Swift, Ken Swift, Jansen Swift, Jay Schwartz, and Nick May. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that contributions instead be made to Southaven First United Methodist Church.
