Nesbit - Inez Dowdy Burr, 81, passed away on Sunday, April 13, 2014 at Methodist Olive Branch Hospital. Mrs. Burr was a member of First Baptist Church of Nesbit. She is preceded in death by her husband, J.C. Dowdy and son, Eddy Dowdy. She leaves her husband, Lloyd Burr; four children: Diane Barnett (Barry), Christi Stiles, David Dowdy and Phyllis Reed; two step-children: Ellen Smith (Buddy) and Wayne Burr (Barbara); 21 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren. Service will be 2 p.m. Wednesday, April 16 at Forest Hill South with visitation 5-7 p.m. Tuesday, April 15. Burial will be in Forest Hill South Cemetery. Forest Hill Funeral Home, South 901-346-3250
