Etta - INEZ PHILLIPS, 83, born August 12, 1928, died February 12, 2012 at her home after a long illness. She was a homemaker and member of Rocky Branch Baptist Church. Mrs. Phillips was preceded in death by her husband, Winfred D. Phillips and a son, Carl Mike Phillips. Mrs. Phillips leaves behind a son, Winfred Junior Phillips of Hernando, MS; three daughters, Barbara Strickland of Southaven, MS, Martha Davis of Etta and Debra Phillips Brente of Los Angeles, CA; nine grandchildren, nine great-grand-children, one great-great-grandchild and one sister, Burnie Phillips of Tupelo, MS. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be 6-8 p.m., Thursday, February 16 at Forest Hill South Funeral Home. Services will be at 10 a.m., Friday, February 17 at the funeral home, with interment to follow.
