Ione D. Gibson, 92, of Milan, TN formerly of Olive Branch, MS passed away on Tuesday, February 13, 2018. Mrs. Gibson taught school for Memphis City Schools. She was a pianist for several churches in the Memphis area and was a member of First United Methodist Church of Milan. Ione was preceded in death by her husband, Dexter M. Gibson; one daughter, Joy Lunati; two sisters and one brother.  She leaves one daughter, Kae Haney (Pat) of Hernando, MS, one son, Dee Gibson (Sherry) of Milan; 6 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. The family requests in lieu of flowers memorials are made to St. Jude Children's Hospital. Visitation will be from 12 to 2pm Saturday, February 17 with service immediately following. All services will be at Forest Hill South on Holmes Road.
