Irma H. Carmichael, 81, passed away Sunday while sleeping after a courageous battle of Cancer.

She is survived by her daughters, Shelly Bennett (Brian) and Vickie Chambless (Brian); son, Keith Carmichael (Dot Mabry); grandchildren, Brittany Crawford, Jessica Sarratt, Hunter Bennett (Mae), and Heath Bennett (Shelby); great grandchildren, Angelique Sarratt, Jasmine Sarratt, Bailey Sarratt, Charley June Bennett, and Raegan Crawford; and a host of nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, John F. Carmichael; parents, Earl and Catherine Hopkins; sisters, Melba Adams and Anita Holden; and brothers, Joe Hopkins and Tommy Hopkins.

Her legacy: let love continue and live to glorify God. She was a devoted Christian and member of Bartlett Woods Church of Christ.
