Irma Carolyn Harrison, 79, of Oakland, TN went to be with the Lord on November 16, 2012. Carolyn was born on December 22, 1932. The doctor walked through the snow to deliver her at home. Her beautiful smile and warm heart endeared her to everyone who met her. Carolyn was a full charge bookkeeper at Union Planters National Bank for many years and was a member of Faith United Methodist Church. Mrs. Harrison raised three beautiful children and loved her church. She suffered through many illnesses and the loss of her youngest son, Timothy Joseph Harrison. She was strong through all of her struggles and remained faithful to the Lord. Carolyn leaves behind her husband, James (Sonny) Harrison, Jr. of Oakland, TN; son, Jeffery Harrison of
Germantown, TN; daughter Debbie Meek (Tim) of Memphis, TN and two grandchildren, Andy and Ellie Meek of Memphis, TN. Rest in peace. Visitation will be 5-7 p.m., Tuesday, November 20, 2012 at Forest Hill East Funeral Home. Services will be at 10 a.m., Wednesday at the funeral home. Interment will be in West Tennessee Veterans Cemetery.
