Irma Mary Rich, (Zerhusen), beloved wife of the late Robert Rich, loving mother of Karen (Ed) Gaugh and Bobbie (Denny) Perkins, grandmother to Kenny (Shina) Vogt, Kimberly (Winston) Vogt, Hannah (Ross) Bailey, Regan (Weston) Bentley, and Emery Perkins, great-grandmother to Addison Vogt, left this world for an adventure with Jesus April 19, 2016. She was preceded in death by her parents, Cyril Zerhusen, Lowell Marshall, and Nellie Doth. She was well admired by all for her spunky personality and love of helping others. She was active at Advent Presbyterian Church, where she volunteered in numerous capacities until her dementia prevented her from continuing. She was a wonderful cook, opening her home to family and friends for delicious meals and fun times. She never knew a stranger, and treated everyone with love and compassion. She was loved not only by her family, but also all of the doctors and caregivers who cared for her, who deemed her their "little firecracker" with her feisty spirit. She will be missed greatly, but her spirit is woven through out the fabric of our lives. Visitation will be 1 p.m. Saturday, April 23 until service begins at 2 p.m.at Forest Hill Funeral Home & Memorial Park, East with interment following. Memorials may be sent to Methodist Hospice Residence.
