Jacinta Rehling (nee'' Pomeda) died February 10, 2016 in Memphis, TN from cardio-respiratory failure. She was 66. Ms. Rehling was born July 9, 1949 in Nueva Ecija, Philippines to parents Ciriaco Pomeda and Ramona Quijano. She graduated from San Juan de Dios School of Nursing as a Registered Nurse in 1971 and later earned her master''s degree as a Certified Registered Nurse of Anesthesia (CRNA) from Tulane University in Louisiana. She enjoyed a rewarding career working in Labor and Delivery as a CRNA at Regional One Medical Center. She found personal fulfillment dedicating her time and medical expertise during medical missions in her home country of the Philippines. She married Richard Rehling in 1978. The couple resided in Cordova, TN. Ms. Rehling was survived by her son, daughter-in-law and grandson, Aaron, Sabrina and Miles Rehling; her brothers, Gorgonia, Aurelio, Florentino and sisters, Eladia, Isabelita, and Eugenia and many beloved extended family across the United States and in the Philippines. She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard; her brothers, Serafin and Adriano and her sisters, Roberta and Zenaida. The family will hold a memorial service to honor Ms. Rehling on February 20, 2016 at 10am to take place at Forest Hill Funeral Home and Memorial Park. All are welcome to attend and celebrate the life of our beloved mother, sister and friend. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the charity of your choice.
