Jack Albert Moore, 95, went to his heavenly home Sunday, December 25, 2016. He was born in Columbus, OH on February 11, 1921. Mr. Moore was preceded in death by his wife of 66 years, Eleanor. Jack was a loving father to his children: Jim Moore of Southaven, MS; John Moore(Nicki) of San Antonio, TX; Nancy Tase of Hernando, MS; Tom Moore of Collierville, TN; Julie Donovan(Bobby) of Southaven, MS; and David Moore of Southaven, MS. He also loved his seventeen grandchildren and nineteen great-grandchildren, who called him "Papa". He was truly a man of faith and loved his family unconditionally. During WWII, he served his country with the Medical Corp. Afterwards, he was an active member in the Masons and later retired from Nationwide Insurance. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to: St. Jude, American Cancer Society, or American Heart Association. Visitation will be held Thursday, December 29, 2016 from 9-10 am with a funeral service to follow at 10:00. All services and interment will be held at Forest Hill, South on Holmes Rd.
