Jack M. Perry, Sr., 79, passed away on September 7, 2015. He was born and raised in Memphis and graduated from Humes High School in 1955. Mr. Perry worked for Probate Court for 15 years and the Election Commission for 10 years in Shelby County Government. He served in the Air National Guard and was a communicant of Holy Rosary Catholic Church. Mr. Perry is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Wanita Scott Perry; children, Jack M. (Margaret Rains) Perry, Jr., Liz Perry Ruark, Bridget Perry (Johnny) Arnold, Scott A. (Rebecca) Perry, Jean Scott (Paul) McDaniel; 7 grandchildren, Jessica, Joshua, Michael, Maggie, Katie, Conor, Aidan; 3 great grandchildren, Lizzie Ann, Jack, Anthony; and a brother, William Ray Perry. Visitation will be 10 a.m. Friday, September 11 at Forest Hill East Funeral Home with a graveside service following at 11 a.m. In lieu of flowers, the family request memorials be sent to LeBonheur Children''s Hospital.
