Jackie Gwen Jones, 79, of Millington, Tennessee went to be with her lord and savior on October 22, 2022 at home with her husband and children at her side.  Jackie, or "Nana" most affectionately known by so many, was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.

Jackie was born on July 6, 1943 in Paragould, Arkansas and lived most of her life in the Memphis, Tennessee area. Jackie enjoyed many years working in retail management. She and her husband, Ed enjoyed traveling around the United States researching genealogy and visiting with friends and family.

Jackie loved her family. She was most proud of her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents Ruth Lawson and Carthel Barnes, brother James Barnes, daughter, Casey Chandler, son Chris Jones.

Jackie is survived by her loving husband of 39 years, Ed Jones; son, Gary Hunt (Sandy); daughter, Debbie Hunt; daughter Ladonna Barr (Jon); grandchildren David Chandler, Matthew Chandler (Kayla), Amanda Chandler McBroom (Keith), Korey Hunt (Miranda), Haylee Hunt Mitchell (Mitch), Tyler Holcomb, Colton Horsley (Tiffany), Cody Horsley, Brandon Mabe, Dillon Mabe (Chloe), Evan Cook; and 15 great-grandchildren.

In celebration of life, a memorial service will be held on Friday, October 28, 2022 at Forest Hill Memorial Park East at 10 am. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations in memory of Jackie Jones be made to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital or the American Cancer society.
