Jackie Richardson, 87, of Waldron, Arkansas passed away Tuesday, June 18, 2024 at Waldon Nursing & Rehab.

She was born December 28, 1936 in Tipton County, TN to the late Haskin T. and Sophia Davis.

She was the church secretary at First Baptist Church in Southaven, MS for several years. She was a Teacher's Assistant at Walls Elementary for 10 years. She was saved at an early age. She served the church in several areas as a Sunday School teacher, sang in the choir, played the piano and organ. She was a member of Eastside Baptist Church in Fort Smith, Arkansas.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, James R. Richardson; her daughter, Janet Richardson; a sister Jeanette Rose; and brother Haskin Davis.

She is survived by two daughters, Judy (Mike) Harrison of Southaven, MS, and Jill Richardson of Mansfield, AR; six grandchildren, Angie (Tim) Wyatt, Brad (Shelly) Harrison, Wesley (Crystal) Thomas, Kristen (Rusty) Hill, Rachel (Charles) Perry, Clay (Katy) Thomas, 18 great grandchildren, and 8 great, great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Monday, June 24, 2024 from 10:00a.m. - 11:00a.m. at Forest Hill Funeral Home - East, located at 2440 Whitten Rd. Memphis, TN. The funeral service will begin at 11a.m and the interment will follow at Forest Hill Memorial Park - South, located at 2545 E. Holmes Rd. Memphis, TN.
