Jackolean Cobb Gentry, 89, passed peacefully on April 14th at home. She was born in Paden, MS to Archie and Cora Bell Cobb. She had 4 brothers and 5 sisters. Preceded in death by: Ferland Coker, Maxine Doyle, Noland Cobb, Carl Cobb, Martha Chaille, Delano Cobb and Jerry Cobb. She is survived by Joyce Jones and Bobbie Monroe. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 63 years Joe Thomas. They had four children: Marcia Dees, Gary Gentry (Kay), Danny Gentry (Cindy) and Steve Gentry (Elizabeth). 10 grandchildren: Kasey Dees, Courtney Drissel, Kevin Dees, Chris Gentry, Nick Gentry, Jarae Hicks, Jennifer Gentry, Dustin Gentry, Ashley Parker, Lauren Walker and 12 great grands. She loved her family, basketball; camping and rolling big buncos. She was an active member of Faith Baptist Church and loved her Sunday school class. Her funeral will be on Wednesday, April 19th at Forest Hill Funeral Home on Whitten at 2:00 with visitation starting at noon. Interment in Memphis Memory Gardens.
