Jacqueline Ann Nelson, 82, of Jackson, TN, passed away on Friday, July 12, 2024. She was born in Memphis, TN, on March 1, 1942, to parents: John Sullivan Sr. and Doris Caldwell. As a child, Jackie attended Mallory Heights Elementary and later graduated from Southside High School. She attended Mallory Heights Church in Memphis, TN. After moving to Jackson, TN she began working at Jackson Madison County General Hospital, that is where she retired from. Also in Jackson, she attended North Jackson Baptist Church. Jackie married the love of her life Robert Nelson Sr. in March of 1962. It was a day after her birthday which made it even more special! Jackie loved playing Yahtzee with family and friends. She loved going to Goodwill and Kroger but what she loved the most was spending time with her great-grandchildren. Jackie is preceded in death by her husband Robert Nelson Sr., both her parents, and a brother-in-law Gary Foose. She leaves behind to cherish her memory, her children: Rhenda Johnston (Weldon Cline), Rhonda Tenhet (Ron White), Lisa Nelson (Ronnie Hart), and Robert Nelson Jr. (Terri Horton), her siblings: Beverly Foose and John Sullivan Jr. (Debbie). She also leaves behind her grandchildren: Hailey Horton, Samantha Duggan, and Kip Johnston, as well as 6 great-grandchildren: Lyra, Baylee, Henly, Cambria, Nova, and Jaiden.
