James Ernest Baskin passed away at 82 years old on Thursday, July 23. He was a member of Bellevue Baptist Church and served in the US Navy before retiring from Varco Pruden Buildings.

He is preceded in death by his Father: Romie Lee Baskin; Mother: Lillian T. Baskin; and Sister: Lillian Gloor. He is survived by his Wife: Bobbie J. Baskin; Sons: James Mark Basin (Sonya) of Germantown, Tennessee and John Brent Baskin (Rebecca) of Jackson, Tennessee; Grandchildren: Jared Mark Baskin, Natalie Baskin McClure, and Ethan Brent Baskin; and Great Grandchild: Knowlton Leslie McClure.

The visitation will be held on Monday, July 27, 2020 from 1:00 pm until 2:00 pm with the service at 2:00 pm at Forest Hill East, 2440 Whitten Road, Memphis TN 38133.

The family asks that in lieu of flowers you make donations to the American Cancer Society or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
