James Wilbert Bohannon, 85, passed away on April 30, 2019 in Memphis, Tennessee.  He had served his country in the United States Army, serving in the Korean War.  Mr. Bohannon was a member of Oak Forrest Church of God in Southaven, Mississippi, and he had retired from Physician's Sales and Services.  He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary H. Bohannon; his parents, William and Ella Bohannon; two sisters, Barbara Dedds, and Verda Bohannon; and one brother, W.M. Bohannon.  Left to honor his memory are his daughter, Diana Melton of Memphis, Tennessee; sons, Stephen J. (Cindy) of Camden, Tennessee, and David G. (Donna R.) Bohannon of Southaven, Mississippi; sisters, Joyce Senter of Osceloa, Arkansas, Betty Hammon of Bartlett, Tennessee, and Bonnie Mann of Kiser, Arkansas.  He had been blessed with 5 grandchildren:  Stephen Bohannon Jr., Jason Bohannon, Zachary Bohannon, Ashley Carter, and Wesley Bohannon; and 5 great grandchildren:  Alexis, Bailey, Kayla, Abraham and Jacob Bohannon.  Visitation with his family will be on Monday, May 6, 2019 from 1:00-2:00 p.m., with his funeral service following at 2:00 p.m. at Forest Hill Funeral Home, East on Whitten Road.  901-382-1000
