James W. "Buddy" Houston went to be with The Lord Sunday March 22, 2015 at St. Francis Hospital in Memphis after an extended illness. He is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Glenda B. Houston; sister, Jamie (Bob) Chisholm; a special nephew, Thomas (Emily) Welshans; and a host of other nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by two sisters: Mary Ann Roberts and Deborah K. Williams. Mr. Houston is a retired business owner. He and his wife were active members of Central Church in Collierville. A funeral service will be held at 1:00 pm on Friday March 27, 2015 with visitation before the service beginning at 11:00 am, all at Central Church. Interment will follow at Forest Hill Funeral Home South on Holmes Road.
