James Charles Chiunate, 53, of Memphis, passed away on February 2, 2013. He was the Networks Administrator at the VA Hospital for over 25 years and was a Coast Guard Veteran. James was a loving son, father, Poopah and friend. He is survived by the love of his life, Susan Compton; daughter, Aindrea (Andrew) Ward; mother, Donna Chiunate; sister, Valerie (Don) Sykes; brother, David Chiunate; and grandchildren, Kate and Jack and was preceded in death by his son, James Quinn Chiunate and father, Charles Chiunate. Visitation will be 5-8 p.m. Friday, February 8th, and graveside service will be 2 p.m. Saturday, February 9th at Forest Hill East Funeral Home and Cemetery. The family request any memorials be sent to Disabled Veterans.
