James Dannie Crunk, Jr, 79, passed away on June 8, 2023.

James was born in Nashville, Tennessee to the late James D. and Ruth Mai Crunk. He was a graduate of Franklin Township High School in Acton, Indiana. He happily served our country in the United States Air Force from 1962-1965. While serving and being stationed in Japan, he was an intelligence specialist- morse code operator. James graduated from Memphis State University earning his bachelors degree in business administration in 1970. He worked for Wayne Woods Oldsmobile in Hernando, Mississippi before going into real estate. James worked for Ace Roberts Realty, Cannerdy-Crunk Realty, and Crye-Leike Realty where he became a member of the 1 million dollar sales club and retired from there in January 2013. He was an avid fisherman and loved to watch the greyhounds run at Southland Greyhound Park.

James is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Mrs. Anola Crunk; two fur babies, Ms Kitty and Little Kitty; one sister, Pat (Ben) Allen; two brothers, Ron (Tempe) Crunk and Stan (Carol) Crunk; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by three sisters, Diane Boland, Kay Dye, and Barbara Bedel.
