James E. Dorris "Teeny" born 1/10/1932 in Sarah, Ms. James passed away 1/30/2020 in Hammond, La. at 88 yrs old. Jim was preceded in death by his wife, Betty Ruth Berry and a son, James David Dorris. He is survived by his daughter, Sandra Kay Hils and her husband Randy Hils, 3 grandchildren, Jennifer Meyers, Jake Allred, RJ Hils and 7 great grandchildren. He was a Army Veteran with the 82nd Airborne division. Jim was a resident of Memphis and worked for Sealtest Dairy and Fleming Foods til he retired. He then moved to Water Valley, Miss. where he enjoyed his love of Crappie fishing. Jim was loved by many and will be greatly missed. Visitation Services will be held on Tuesday, February 4, 2020 from 9 am until Funeral Service at 10 am, both at Forest Hill Funeral Home and Memorial Park - Midtown 1661 South Elvis Presley Blvd.
