James N. Douglas, Jr., 72, of Memphis, went to be with the Lord on March 13, 2012 at his home. He retired after 40 years as owner, operator and master plumber at Jim Douglas and Sons Plumbing Company. Mr. Douglas was a 1958 graduate of Treadwell High School and attended Memphis State University. He was an avid University of Memphis Tigers fan. Mr. Douglas is survived by his loving wife of 52 years, Bobbie Jean Douglas; sons, Brian (Liz) Douglas, David (Kim) Douglas; mother, Margaret "Billie" Douglas; sister, Marca Lee Douglas (Neil) Simpson; and the grandchildren he doted upon, Lindsey, Addison, Cameron and Turner. He was preceded in death by his father, James N. Douglas, Sr. and his brother, Robert D. Douglas. Visitation will be at 12 p.m. until services begins at 2 p.m. on Thursday, March 15 at Forest Hill East Funeral Home with burial following. In lieu of flowers, the family request any memorials be sent to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or Memphis Union Mission.
