James Ford Duncan, Jr., 84, passed away Wednesday, April 5, 2023 in Memphis, TN. He

leaves behind one daughter, Alicia Harwell (Tim); two sons, Randy Duncan and Vince

Bell (Janine); five grandchildren, Crystal Via (Terry), Casey Beaver (Blaine), Meghan

Rice (Mark), Steven Cramer and McKenzie Bell; and six great grandchildren, Owen,

Evan, Johannah, Elaina, Lucas and Abigail. He is preceded in death by his wife of 36

years, Nancy Duncan; his parents James Ford Duncan, Sr. and Narine May Duncan;

one son, Robby Duncan;and one brother, Johnny Duncan.

James was a man of faith and longtime member of Bellevue Baptist Church. In his free

time he enjoyed watching old western movies, reading, tinkering with his train sets and

eating his favorite foods such as cheeseburgers, and snack cakes. James had a passion for

anything military related, whether it be historical places, events, military vehicles, and

especially his trains.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, April 12, 2023 from 9:00-10:00am at Forest Hill East

Funeral Home. Funeral services will start at 10:00a.m. Burial will follow at Forest Hill

East Cemetery 2440 Whitten Rd., Memphis, TN 38133.
