James Conway Dye, 82, entered into rest April 15, 2019 in Southaven, MS.  Mr. Dye was a retired Civil Engineer, and was a member of Tennessee Association of Professional Surveyors and Mississippi State Board of Professional Surveyors. He was a member of Goodman Road Baptist Church, where he served as trustee, and had served as a deacon at Memphis Temple Baptist in the 1970's.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Connie and Vera Dye; his brother, Max Dye; and his first wife, Kathy Dye. Left to cherish his memory are his wife of 24 years, Margaret Dye; three daughters, Glynis (Ron) Blackard, Catrina Taubken and Constance Dye-Hardin; 8 grandchildren, Candice Blackard, Andrew Blackard, Amber Nelson, Savannah Hardin, Ashley Whaley,  Laura Carney, Kim Gray, and Christie Sartain; and 3 sisters, Mary Shelton, Greta Parks, and Marie Webster.  Visitation with his family will be Saturday, April 20, 2019, from 9:00-10:00 AM, with services following at 10:00 AM at Forest Hill Funeral Home, East  901-382-1000
