James B. Ferrell, USMC Ret, 89, passed away Tuesday, September 13, 2016. Jim is survived two children, James (Mike) Ferrell, of Memphis; Debi Archer, of Memphis; two grandchildren, of Memphis, David (Bryan) Archer, of Memphis; Melanie McLain, of Memphis; three great grandchildren of Memphis; two nephews, Jimmy Fitzgibbon, of Memphis and David Fitzgibbon of Georgia. He was a veteran of the Korean War. Jim was past commander of VFW Post #4916. Jim was a member of Leawood Baptist Church. Family and friends will gather to share memories 10:00 am to 12:00 pm, Monday followed by services at 12:00 pm. Both will be at Forest Hill Funeral Home, Midtown on Elvis Presley.
