James "Ray" Foster was born in Carroll County on August 3, 1922. He passed away on Monday, April 15, 2013. Ray retired from Delta Airlines in Atlanta, Georgia. He is an Air Force Veteran that served in India. He is a member of Bellevue Baptist Church. Ray''s parents are Odis and Ruth Foster, who are deceased. He leaves behind one sister, Bobbie Jean Perritt of Memphis and three brothers, Odis Foster of Memphis, TN, Kenneth Foster of McKenzie, TN, and Jerry Foster of McKenzie, TN. He has a host of many nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, April 17 at Forest Hill East Funeral Home, with family receiving friends an hour prior. Interment will be in Memphis Memory Gardens.
