James Norman Gambill (Jim) passed away peacefully on Tuesday, January 10th, 2023 at the age of seventy at St. Francis Hospital in Memphis, Tennessee.

Jim was born on October 17th, 1952 in Memphis, Tennessee. He was preceded in death by his parents Norman and Martha Gambill. Jim was a proud graduate of Kingsbury High School and Memphis State University. His lifelong passions were music and accounting, and he loved serving others through these callings.

Jim is survived by his wife Cheri of Oakland, TN; his children Robert (Sarah) of Coppell, TX, Martin (Amanda) of Nesbit, MS, and James (Nan) of Fayetteville, AR; and his grandchildren Lucas and Hannah. Visitation will be held on January 14th, 2023 from 10:00AM - 12:00PM at Forest Hill Funeral Home & Cemetery - East (2440 Whitten Road, Memphis, Tennessee), with funeral service immediately following.
