James Leslie George went home to be with our Lord October 4, 2024. James was born June 16, 1940 in Moorehead MS. He leaves behind his wife of 59 1/2 years Dorothy (Dot) George. His daughter Leslie Fair and son in law Timmy Fair. Two grandchildren, Rachael Clark (Cody) and Brandon Fair. A bonus granddaughter Ebbie Patterson. Three great grandchildren, Cameron Thody, Colton Thody and Wyatt Clark and many nieces and nephews. He joined many loved ones in Heaven including his daughter Deborah George and granddaughter Jessica Fair. James was a Navy veteran and a member of Berclair Baptist Church. He was a retired truck driver who loved fishing and spending time with his family. James' funeral will be held at Forest Hill East October 9th, 2024 at 2:00 pm. Visitation for family will be from 12:00 to 1:00 pm and from 1:00 to 2:00 for everyone. Burial to follow on site. In lieu of flowers we ask that you make donations to Berclair Baptist Church, American Cancer Society or your local Disabled Veterans Group.
