J. Franklin Herman, 86, went home to be with the Lord on July 3, 2015. He was born in Union City, TN and later moved to Memphis. He served as Secretary/Treasurer of Fischer Lime & Cement Co. and Fischer Steel Corp., where he retired after 40 years. He cherished his family and leaves behind Peggy, his wife of 60 years, and daughters, Debra Hutchens (James) and Charlotte Gardner (Brad) and three grandchildren. He was a charter member of Covenant Baptist Church, Collierville. Visitation will be Tuesday at 1:00 pm with 2:00 pm service at Forest Hill East Funeral Home & Memorial Park, East. 901-382-1000
