James Edward Hillman, a spirited 91-year-old and devoted husband, daddy, and papa, lived with adventure and purpose. 

A decorated U.S. Marine Corps Major, he served 24 years, including the Korean War, Cuban Missile Crisis, and Vietnam War, earning a Purple Heart. He cherished simple pleasures like camping, cooking, fishing, and family gatherings.

 Surviving family members include his sisters, Bobbie Faye, Linda, and Carol (Cam), and his children, Debbie Moeller, James Jr., Randy (Pamela), Dianne Moody (Raymond), and Billy, his legacy continues through them. He is preceded in death by his wife, Bobbie Jean Hillman, parents Bill and Mary 'Frances' McDonald Hillman, and siblings Billy Hillman, Wilber Hillman, Jeannette Fowler, and Joann Hillman.
