James "Jim" D. Brewer, 90, passed away Tuesday, January 9, 2018 in Bartlett, TN. Jim was born in Meridian, MS. February 26, 1927. He was a member of First Baptist Church in Senatobia, MS. and an avid golfer at Back Acres Country Club. Jim was preceded in death by his parents Frank and Jessie Brewer, his brothers Frank, Howard, Jack and Bill. Jim was loved by two wives who have preceded him in death; Ann Shepherd Brewer and Vi Vaught Brewer and they were waiting for him at Heavens Gate. Jim is survived by 2 loving daughters; Betty (Jim) Murray of Madison, MS. and Patti (Sam) Pair of Bartlett, TN. and Doug (Debra) Vaught of Olive Branch, MS He has been blessed with 6 grandsons; Will (Cheryl), Brett (Karla), and Tucker (Alissa) Murray, all of Madison, MS. David (JJ) of Nashville, TN, Clinton (Candice) of Arlington, TN. and Matt (Maegan) Pair of Bartlett. He has been blessed also with 13 great grand children who love him dearly.
Visitation will be Friday, January 12, 2018 from 12:30-2:00 p.m. with service following at 2:00 p.m. at Forest Hill Funeral Home, South 901-346-3250.
