James "Jim" Hyde, Jr., 88, longtime Memphis resident and more recently of St. Louis, MO, passed away on July 21, 2017. He was retired terminal manager for various trucking companies, a US Marine proudly serving during Korean War and a Baptist. Mr. Hyde was preceded in death by his wife of 57 years, Frankie Hyde. He is survived by his daughter, Paula James; son in law, Fred James; two granddaughters, Terri Stewart, Tracey Zamarripa; and two great-granddaughters, Emilie and Ava Zamarripa. Visitation will be 1-2 p.m. at Forest Hill Funeral Home and Memorial Park, East. Graveside service will be at 2:30 p.m. at Memorial Park Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations should be sent to the donor''s choice.
