James Arlen Krogstad, 77, was born on May 24, 1941 to Elmer Oliver Krogstad and Mildred Irene Krogstad in Fertile, Minnesota.  He transitioned from Methodist Hospital Germantown to be with the Lord on November 26, 2018.

James married Martha Frances Maxwell.  He served with the United States Army, and later retired as a salesman from Ashley Furniture.

He leaves to cherish his memory his wife, Martha Frances Krogstad; three daughters, Cheryl Ausburn, Linda Campbell, Debra Smith; a son, Michael Duncan; a sister Lois Hesse; five grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by Nan Coker, his sister.

The family has requested that, in lieu of flowers, donations be sent to St. Jude Children Research Hospital or to the donor's choice.
