James R. Long, 79, of Middleton, TN died Sunday, June 30, 2013. He was retired from Interstate Construction, a U.S. Navy Seabee veteran of the Korean Conflict, member of the American Legion in Middleton and was on the Board of Directors of the Woodrun POA. Mr. Long is survived by his wife of 58 ½ years, Mary A. Long; daughter, Donna Fortney (Richard) of Middleton, TN; sons, Russell Long (Amiee) of Ponchatoula, LA, and Steven Long (Maureen) of Littleton, CO; grandchildren, Joshua, Jacob, Justin, Kenneth, and Stephen and one great-granddaughter, Kayleigh. He is also survived by his sisters, Edwina Uncer and Sue Barnes both of Shreveport, LA and his sister-in-law, Juanita Long of Keithville, LA. Visitation will be 12-2 P.M., Friday, July 5, 2013 with services to follow at 2 P.M. at Forest Hill East Funeral Home. Interment will be in Forest Hill East
