James Leroy Mills, 82, loving husband and father, passed away at the home of his son, Thomas Andrew Mills, in Tuscumbia, AL on September 25, 2018.  He was surrounded by his faithful wife of 40 years and his devoted children and grandchildren.  He is survived by his wife Lynda Pearce Mills and his children Gina Mills Carver (James), Lynda Mills Simpson, James Leroy Mills, Jr. (April) and Thomas Andrew Mills (Stephanie).  He was an amazing grandfather to 13 grandchildren.  He is also survived by his brother Jimmy Ray Mills and his nephew Kelly Ray Mills.  Mr. Mills graduated from Messick High School in Memphis in 1956 and was an executive in the financial services for over 50 years.  He will be remembered for his honesty, integrity, faithfulness, love, sense of humor and amazing smile.
