James Lucas Monger, 85, passed away Sunday, June 28, 2020 at 9:30 p.m. at Methodist South Hospital. James was employed at D. Canale for over 30 years. He is survived by his wife, Verna Sharon Monger; daughter, Verna Lee Harrell; and brother, Warren Monger. He was a graduate of South Side High School and Memphis State University, and a member of Labelhaven Baptist Church. The family will have a graveside service at 2 p.m., Monday, July 6, 2020 at Forest Hill Funeral Home & Memorial Park, Midtown.
