James L. Parrish, Jr., 92, of Olive Branch, MS, died on December 25, 2016. He was born in Arkansas on June 21, 1924 to James and Ruby Christine Parrish. Mr. Parrish was retired from Firestone and was a WWII Navy Veteran. He was a member of the American Legion and also a member of the Bartlett Masonic Lodge. Mr. Parrish was preceded in death by his wife, Vivian; daughter, Sherry Elaine Parrish; and his parents. He is survived by his son, Jim Parrish; siblings, Doris Caldwell, Mary Dunn, Betty Jones, Carol Dugas, Tommy Parrish and Debbie Turpin; and two grandchildren, Jenny and Rob Parrish. Visitation will be 5-7 p.m. Thursday, December 29 and service at 1:30 p.m. Friday, December 30 at Forest Hill Funeral Home & Memorial Park, East. Interment will be in Memphis Funeral Home & Memorial Gardens.
