James "Jack" Pike 72, of Southaven, MS went to be with his heavenly father on Friday, October 5. He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Joan; two daughters, Sharryl and Melissa; one son, Kevin; one sister, Peggy Clifton; five grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. James served in the National Guard for four years, then served in the Air Force for eight years. James worked for CSX Railroad for 20 years. He was an umpire for the softball league, and volunteered at the VA Hospital as a driver for over 10 years. James was a member of First Baptist Church of Southaven. Visitation will be Monday, October 8, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. with funeral services starting at 12 p.m. at First Baptist. Interment will follow in Forest Hill Cemetery East. The family requests that any memorials be sent to the Benevolence Committee at First Baptist Church of Southaven.
