James V. Pogue, 78, of Tupelo, MS, passed away on September 6, 2021, at the North Mississippi Medical Center Hospice Unit.  He was born on October 28, 1942 in Memphis, TN to Verner and Agnes Pogue.  James worked at Firestone Tire and Rubber Company and MTD Products for a majority of his working career.  He was a member of St. James Catholic Church in Tupelo, MS and the Knights of Columbus.  He enjoyed studying the Catholic doctrine and the teachings, along with complying the Catholic principles into his own website.  Survivors include his former wife, Jeanie, two sons David and Steven (wife April), brother Billy, and two sisters Linda and Judy.
Visitation will be Friday, September 10th from 5pm to 7pm, and Funeral Services on Saturday, September 11th at 10am, at Forest Hill East Funeral Home & Memorial Park, Memphis, TN.  In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that donations be made to St. James Catholic Church in Tupelo, MS.
