James R. Davis, 86, longtime resident of Bartlett, TN, went to be with the Lord on January 13, 2015. He was a Private First Class proudly serving in the US Army during the Korean War and a retired supervisor for Kimberly Clark after 41 years. Mr. Davis was the youngest son of Will and Bell Davis of Eudora, MS and a member of Bartlett Baptist Church. He is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Helen Jane Davis; two children, James R. (Kimberly) Davis, II, Suzanne (Greg) Williams; four granddaughters; a great grandson and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be 10:15 a.m. Friday, January 16 until service begins at 12 noon at Forest Hill East Funeral Home. Interment will be at West Tennessee Veterans Cemetery 4000 Forest Hill Irene Road, Memphis, TN 38125. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Methodist Hospice Residence.
