James R. Richardson, 79, of Spiro, OK went to be with the Lord on August 21, 2013. He was born on June 26, 1934 in Covington, TN to the late John J. and Annie Mae Richardson. He retired from Texas Gas Transmission Corp. after 36 years. James was a member of Eastside Baptist Church in Fort Smith, AR. James loved the Lord and his greatest love after God was his wife and soul-mate, Jackie, with whom he shared his life for 61 years. Besides his wife, he is survived by three daughters, Judy (Mike) Harrison of Clarksville, TN, Jill Richardson of Mansfield, AR, Janet Richardson of Spiro, OK; six grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren; one brother, Johnny (Betty) Richardson of Mobile, AL; two sisters, Catherine (James) Rickard of Brownsville, TN and Brenda (Larry) Peete of Covington, TN. The family will receive friends from 12-2 p.m., August 24, 2013 with service to follow at 2 p.m. at Forest Hill East Funeral Home with the Rev. Mike Harrison officiating. Interment will follow in Forest Hill South Cemetery.
