James Charles Rieben, 84, beloved husband, father and grandfather, of Olive Branch, MS passed away May 4, 2013. James was born in Potts Camp, MS on December 17, 1927. He was a stationary steam engineer for Memphis Union Station for many years and retired from Velsicol Chemical Company. Mr. Rieben is survived by his wife of 15 years, Norma Jean; daughters, Kathy Downen (Steve) and Nancy Bogart; stepdaughters, Sherry Thompson (Bob), Joanne Harris (Allen), Karla Cline (Hunter); grandchildren, Jon Judson Downen, Caroline Rankins and Dallas Downen. Brandon Lee Coyle, Benjamin Van Coyle, Alijo Harris, Zack Jon McAley, Zane Joseph McAlexander and Zoe Jean McAlexander. He will be missed. Visitation will be 5-7 P.M., Wednesday, May 8, 2013 at Forest Hill Funeral Home South. Services will be at 10 A.M., Thursday, May 9, 2013 at the funeral home with interment to follow.
